Description
Learning to spell takes times. A personal dictionary gives children a place to record and reference the words they need for their writing tasks. This dictionary contains all the words most frequently found in children’s books, called Dolch words, also known as sight words, for pre-primer to grade three.
Each page in the dictionary also has several blank lines where children can add words their choice. In this way they can personalize the dictionary to make it more meaningful and useful for their writing experiences.
My Spelling Dictionary is a great tool for introducing alphabetical order. Each page is devoted to only one letter, so searching for words is simplified.
This product is a downloadable PDF. Printing the pages doubled-sided and stapling them into a booklet is recommended.
